2. Summary
- This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking.
- All fonts and assets are served from this domain. No content is loaded from third parties such as Google Fonts or CDNs.
- Personal data is only processed to deliver the website securely and to answer your inquiries.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is operated by an external hosting provider that processes data on my behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). When you visit the website, the server automatically records technical information in log files: your IP address, date and time of the request, the requested page, the referring URL, and the browser and operating system you use.
This processing is necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website). Log data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for this purpose, unless further retention is required to investigate a specific security incident.
4. Contact by email
If you contact me by email, I process the data you provide (such as your name, email address, company and message) to handle your inquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your inquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise. Your data is deleted once your inquiry has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations (for example under commercial or tax law) require longer storage.
5. Local storage in your browser
If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key theme. This value never leaves your device and is not transmitted to me. Storage only happens when you actively press the theme button, as a function you explicitly request (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
6. Links to other websites
This website links to external profiles, for example on GitHub and LinkedIn. No data is transferred to these providers until you click a link. After that, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, an informal email to info@angelobreuer.de is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for me is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), www.ldi.nrw.de.
8. Changes
I update this privacy policy when the website or the legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
