02 Cloud, DevOps & Infrastructure
Freelance DevOps & cloud infrastructure engineer
I set up and stabilise the infrastructure your software runs on: containerised services with Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes and Helm, automated CI/CD pipelines and proper observability. The goal is simple: releases become routine instead of risky, and when something breaks, you can see why.

Typical problems I get called in for
- 01
Deployments are manual and risky
Releases depend on one person and a checklist. I automate build, test and rollout so every release follows the same reliable path.
- 02
Environments drift apart
"Works on my machine" but not in staging. Containers and declarative configuration make every environment reproducible.
- 03
Nobody sees what breaks
Incidents are found by customers first. Logs, metrics and diagnostics make system behaviour visible before it becomes a problem.
- 04
Infrastructure grew without an owner
Years of quick fixes left a setup nobody fully understands. I document it, simplify it and make it maintainable.

Frequently asked questions
Do we actually need Kubernetes?
Not always. For a handful of services, Docker with a good CI/CD pipeline is often enough and much simpler to run. I recommend Kubernetes when you need scaling, many services or zero-downtime rollouts, and I will tell you honestly if you do not.
Which cloud providers do you work with?
The approach is provider-agnostic: containers, declarative configuration and automated pipelines work on any major cloud as well as on your own servers. I adapt to the platform you already use.
Can you improve our existing pipelines instead of replacing them?
Yes, and that is usually the better option. I start with what you have, remove the biggest sources of friction and only replace parts that cannot be fixed.
